Whilst perusing Dominique De Bast's post and his YouTube link (re. Miles Shepherd's Chinon/Elmo 1200 enquiry), I came across this astonishing oddity:

Albeit a novelty, it is an amazing feat! (And ironic, following discussion here about maximum capacity reels.)

That is not a projector...unless it was meant written in French...which means spot light
It does not show moving pictures.
We can see no shutter there, no film reels, no feed and take up arms and no lens. So practically will not project any film.
It is only a model (mock up) or a miniature of projector with constant light.
If you want to see a handmade projector although not a tiny one, you can check here:

Whoops; I stand corrected!
Many thanks, Winbert, for revealing this fascinating creation!
I'd love to see something similar in dear old Meccano...

Well, the "not-a-projector" was nonetheless a very cool project for someone using what looked to be a hodge-podge of found materials.
Thanks for sharing the youtube videos...although at least for me, it is always a bit too easy to go down the rabbit hole and end up watching a whole bunch of videos one right after another!
