I had someone give me this projector and it runs only in reverse. I've inspected the back and the switching mechanism for operation appears to be more electrical than mechanical like some I've seen. In reverse positions the projector runs and run and lights in the second position. In forward position no motor transport moving however in the lamp/forward position the lamp comes on very dimly. Since it has variable speed control I've understood this model can help in synchronizing in duplication from 8mm films. Any ideas?
