I re-sized and cropped some 640 x 480 clips up to 720 x 540.

Now they are fine during still scenes, but seem to be jumpy or jerky when there's movement.

Could this be from re-sizing or cropping?

I just need to know if that's possible.

Thanks.

You ideally need to ask this in the 'General Yak' board of the Forum, because you've posted in the 8mm film section - so the question may not be viewed by some with digital interests.

Bill, could be any sort of issue with frame rates, interlacing, encoding or transcoding. Need to know more about your workflow to try to troubleshoot.

Thanks, I think you both answered me. Looks like something I changed just the the other day.

Thanks again.

If the source file is interlaced, it will look awful if resized like that. You need to use a deinterlacing tool before the resize.
