Has anyone rewired their editors / projectors to use LED's?

If so, where can you buy the items to covert?

I checked with a local electric specialist store that sells household fixtures and industrial electric supplies. They had nothing.

I know in the Lightsaber building bussiness, they use Tri Cree LED's with differend reflectors, because of the high brightness.
I think for projection you need a step higher than ghat. But you can try something out with this maybe.
They have LED Drivers and stuff and also make custom heathsinks for the dies of your choice here:
