If it has vintage color, very good deal, if the color is faded .... BAAAAAAAD deal!

No screen shots shown unfortunately....not even a photo of a strip of film just like the others offered.

There are many variables.
Most likely it's a Kodak SP low fade film stock and if it was stored well the colors may still have retained intact otherwise SP prints could have the tendency to lose the neutral density, by the loss of the blacks turning brown.
Kodak SP film stock was made around 1980, and Empire was released in 1980.
By 1982 Kodak began to release their next generation of low fade film stock labeled: LPP that retained the original vibrant color on film. It's unknown if this part one edition was printed closer to when Kodak transitioned from SP to LPP in 1982.
The part two 400' edition of Empire came during the time of LPP.
Ask the seller to watch the film or unspool some of the film and if he can see that the film appears brown or amber in color. However, who knows if he can tell the difference. The first scenes of the film should be white snow in color after the probe robot is released from space.
