Two questions:
1. I have a Chinon SP-330 magnetic projector and a few trailers that appear to be in scope, but despite looking I have yet to see any type of scope lens or workaround to project the full image. Any ideas?

2. I also have a few prints that were printed a little 'light' shall we say. The one is 'It's A Wonderful Life' which I understand is common for the Niles release. What is a good way to darken the image? I have seen people use color gel filters to try and fix a red or faded print, but never anything about making a print lighter/darker. Thoughts?

Hey Dave!,

You need to find an anamorphic lens and some kind of holder to align it in front of your regular projection lens. The lenses tend to be pricey these days. I count myself very lucky that a friend in the UK found me one as military surplus (Royal Navy), and obviously the agency selling them had no idea about their real market value.

The holders can be as primitive as a bag of rice propped up on books all the way up to purpose-made works of industrial art.

(Be careful: I've been running with something I kludged up for about 12 years and I'm getting kind of sick of it!)

I suppose you could put some sort of neutral density filter in front of the lens with your bright films. It will cut back the brightness, but it won't give you any more contrast.
