Dear reader,
I am new to super 8
I have a some questions regarding negative and reversal stock
I want to film and send off the film stock to be developed but I want it to come back digitised which out of negative and reversal is best for this

Negative is best if you aree not goig to project it as per old school. But you must factor in the cost for film scanning too, which is not cheap, if you want it done profesionally; which is a must if you do not want ot lose at least 30% of what the S/8 frame is capable of, despite its size.

Grading can be an issue: you better explain the transfer house what you will be expecting in terms of color saturation and contrast. Or you can add a copy of a color chart both "on" film (meaning: shoot a few seconds of it under the same lighting conditions as the ones you will be shooting your footage) and with the film to serve as reference.
Negative is best exposed by overriding exposure by at least + 1 stop as opposed to the built-in lightmeter suggestions.
