i recently acquired a Super-8 print of the Roadrunner & Coyote cartoon "Gee Whiz-z-z-z." I can't find any identifying marks on it that indicate what company released it. It's on LPP stock.
I might guess Derann, but I don't see it listed in any of my old Deann catalogs.
Does any one know what company released this cartoon?

I haven't found any Technofilm prints on LPP but I know Derann had some of their negatives when they closed so it might be a reprint by them.

Hi, Leon - Thanks for the thoughts on the source of the "Gee Whiz" cartoon.
As for what films I collect, I started collecting when my children were quite young, so my collection is primarily cartoons, 2-reel comedies, and the Castle Film and other digests to suit their (and my!) short attention span. I don't collect features, mostly because I watch films once or twice a week but only for an hour or so. I like to mix and match: a cartoon or two, a travelogue, and a comedy might make up a night's show.
I have Elmo projectors: an ST1200 as the primary one, and then an ST600 and an SC18 that I use occasionally.
I also collect 16mm, mostly the same kinds of short films: cartoons, comedies, educationals, and TV shows. Again, I stick with the Elmo 16CL projectors.

I have a large collection of Warner Bros cartoons in their original Techno films plastic cases but none are on LPP stock, nor have I a got a copy of "Gee Whiz-z-z."
I concur with Brian on this matter. Perhaps Derann did issue this title.
