Hello. Can anyone offer an opinion or advice on how well or how poorly this camera operates if someone were to buy it

Nicholas
This camera, which takes regular (double) 8 film, had an approximate life span of twenty years from the late 1930s to the late 1950s.
During that time it had various minor modifications. Large number were sold. It was a very popular item but was not cheap. In 1954 it was £71 plus £5 for its ever ready case. (UK pound prices).
It was built in true solid Eumig style, before the days of plastic.

Hello and thank you for your reply on this Eumig 8mm movie camera. I recently found out that this camera has 1 small problem . the ASA/ISO control adjustment on this camera only has a high setting of 50 ASA. Where 8mm film now manufactured and called Fomapan 8mm r100,, is a higher ASA adjustment setting of 100. So using this Eumig camera unfortunately may not be possible. Any opinions on this problem would be appreciated..

Could you possibly use a neutral density filter?
