Were there ever any Super 8 releases of films by Federico Fellini? Any full-lengths or even digests of La Dolce Vida or 8 1/2 put out by any company? It seems like all of the European "art-house" cinema of the 1960s would have been perfect candidates for commercial Super 8 films back in the day.

Then again, maybe the market would have been even more limited for these types of films than for the usual mainstream Hollywood fare. Audiences made up of students and hipster intellectuals probably didn't have much disposable income to blow on home movie releases. They were relatively expensive back then, weren't they?

Hi Tim, Film Office, in France, released some extracts of "Fellini Roma".
