Hi all

I have put together a list of online Super 8 Film dealers around the world

http://members.optusnet.com.au/~p.berrett/super8.html

If you are hunting for a particular film this may come in handy.

If anyone knows of any other sellers please let me know.

Regards Peter

I actually have some improvement suggestions - how about putting a comment with each link noting what's primarily on sale, as some sites specialize in super-8, some in 16mm, some do both, and some a little bit of everything (including equipment). Also, what I'm sure would be neat would be knowing who's behind each website (for those who don't) - such as Andreas Eggeling who runs Movies & Sound, Phil Johnson behind (um) Phil's Vintage Movies, Steve Osborne behind The Big Reel...

...no, wait a minute, Steve runs The Reel Image, which (sadly) doesn't have an online presence.

Who's behind The Big Reel? (And does the link usually work, because right now it's not working?) [Confused]

No worries

I have updated the links and added contacts and descriptions. There are also some new links added as well.

Enjoy.

Peter,

I run Independent 8, so you can put my name on the contact details. By the way "The Reel" image is a U.S. based buisness run by Steve Osborne and not a U.K. one.

Now updated

Readers may want to note the 30% discount on old stock,8mm films & projectors until 31 July at Independant 8, as well as that Camerasetc appears to be having a 20% off sale as well.

Mention "Film-tech" at either of the above stores and get a strange look for free!

I just wanted a list for my own searches (so that I could look out for that elusive super 8 full copy of the Good the Bad and the Ugly) [Smile]

If anyone has any other dealers or shops online please let me know and I will add them to the list. I am sure there are more out there.

Regards Peter

Hi,

a) Michael Schneider's Filmdose is missing: http://www.filmdose-berlin.de/

b) Wouldn't it be better to enhance the super8wiki's "where"-section instead of starting a new list?
http://super8wiki.com/index.php/Category:FAQ#Where_to_Find_Equipment.2C_Processing_and.2For_Telecine

In a hurry,
Jörg
