Good luck Joe. Hey, have you ever seen, (as you have quite a a few oldies), "Cinerella's Cinders"? It was mostly a female driven comedy, with a great chase with women running after each other. Quite funny but I haven't seen a print come up in a long time.

Hi Shorty,
I make reproduction L&H Blackhawk boxes whenever I pick up a print that has no box. I scanned a box cover, cleaned it up in Photoshop, and I find it indistinguishable from a genuine Blackhawk box.
I also found a glossy black paper that is perfect for the base.
The only difficult part is the corners, but I think I've finally mastered that.
The problem is, it's very labor intensive, so it probably wouldn't be worth my time to make them, or too pricey for you to buy them. But send me a PM, and I can e-mail the file to you. I can also give you instructions on making them yourself. If you like, I'll send you a pic of one of my boxes next to a genuine and challenge you to pick the repro.

Hi Alan,
First let me welcome you to the Forum.
Your assembly of counterfeit Blackhawk Boxes
is very interesting.
Watch out for those cyber police inspectors
.
In all it is very interesting and I am interested
in the development of these containers too.
A while back I had read that some collectors
also created their own original Film boxes of Derann features
that were originally shipped in Derann's flimsy
white cardboard.
Years ago, when my nieces were young, they had
a thrill in selecting the 8mm Walt Disney Films
from my collection with all of the colorful
box art.
