Hi John,
I too would be very interested to receive a list of films and equipment. Again, you could either e-mail me direct, or else post the listing here on the Forum.
Looking forward to reading it.

I sent you a response a couple of days ago via your private email.

Lance please try again. I just sent you mail this time from my AOL account. I will NOT list that email here to avoid the spammer problem. I believe I put my name in the subject line of this new mail. I also think the Yahhoo address to which you replied sent your letters to the spam and they were deleted before I ever saw them.
So please try again. Thanks.

Hi John,
Many thanks for e-mailing me the list.
I replied yesterday with a list for you to price up for me.
Anxiously awaiting your response.
With best regards,

As a personal reference, John Black is one of the longest-running and smartest collectors in our field. Many times we spoke on the phone for hours, ultimately resulting in a fine trade. Cherry Hill NJ film shows were our mecca, how we talked and laughed. Gentleman, musician par excellance and top-friend. John Black has my pledge of endorsement, always will. - Shorty

Just wondering if anyone has heard back from John, apart from receiving his fantastic list.
I sent him my wish list, but still no response.
I sincerely hope that he is not having further problems.
Joe, can you throw any light on the situation?
Posted by Kevin Faulkner (Member # 6) on March 21, 2008, 09:14 AM:
I have noticed a few email addresses being put on the forum. Unless you want spam, DONT.
Put your email addresses in a way that people know how to reply.
anyone at something dot co dot uk should suffice.
Chip, you left Lance wide open to spam. I have altered his email address above.
Kev.

Kevin
First, let me apologize for that error. Second, as it is noted I was trying to prevent spamming. Third, since I actually didn't list his address or mine, how did it happen. If you explain this if possible, some of us can learn so we don't do it in the future.
I'm not mad or anything either. Just curious.

I'm sure he will respond to everyone, he'll probably have to take a bit of time most due medically. He lost alot of weight I understand and recovery is slow, but he's a trusted collector I've known a long time, he'll come through. Haven't spoken to him in the better part of a year or so, mainly an occasional note or through friends. Hey, he has about a baker's dozen in shorts I want to, so we just have to be patient - Shorty
