Yep! I'm still looking for Popeye Meets Ali Baba! I'm looking for a good copy of this, either a Perry's reprint of this, (on great color stock no less!) ...

or perhaps, an "Atlas" films copy of this ... (hint hint)

I would only settle for a Niles print of this if I can find an UNFADED print from Niles ... but that would probably be an extreme rarity!

contact Bob through this link. As you can see, Sinbad is listed on
the web site.

I have Alibaba, and it is stunning, and the sound is in sync.
The titles were recreated, but they are 99.9% perfect.
I love Super 8, but if you want the best that Derann and
Super 8 offers today, then grab what you need from Bob.
I assure you, that you will not be disappointed.

Sinbad is excellent with beautiful saturated color.

If you can afford it, grab it while you can and you will not
be sorry.

I looked on that link, but I didn't see any Popeye Meets Ali Baba cartoon offered in either Super 8 or 16MM.

I've been drooling over his print of Poor Cinderella, but weeping at the price. Do you know if the colour and print quality lives up to the price?

The screen captures of that print look quite nice. In fact, it's the best that I have seen for that particular rare color film, (considering that it was Betty Boop's only official color cartoon, those re-issued color classics from the 70's were TERRIBLY done color copies of black and white classics!).

Hello all,

Bob does not make the prints, but I am familiar with the lab
man. This fellow truly knows how to bring out the best quality
in film.

I don't have Poor Cinderella in my collection, but my friend has it
the sound and print quality are stunning.
As far as cartoons are, this Boop title is longer than usual.

There are other releases that have been offered,
and they are not offered on a regular basis.

I have both Alibaba and Sinbad.

Regarding the Alibaba, it was from 35mm, and the titles
and sound were artfully restored by a private collector.
As you are aware, Alibaba had sections of footage that
lacked sound sync, and the opening had the A.A.P. release plaque.
Low fades on this title were excellent, but when the private restoration
became available, this made it all the more worthwhile.

This Alibaba project was completed around eleven years ago, and
this work was not related to the existing DVD package that is available today.

The print was not in perfect shape
and they resurrected it to pristine quality.

The Sinbad frame grabs are from 16mm.
