Hey Patrick ...
you should make clear as to whether you want the flat or scope 600ft of "Raise the Titanic".
All the best

Osi,

Is it not obvious enough that Patrick only wants Scope (c/s = cinemascope)?

Winbert, lay off Osi. I think he's taken enough forum bashing latley.
C/S could also be taken for colour / sound

Hi,
I have a mint print of TITANIC 1953 Ken Film's 200ft sound digest version, what do you have to trade???
Kevin.

Yeah, Winbert,....stop snipeing at Osi!!!!!!!
Posted by Osi Osgood (Member # 424) on August 09, 2009, 01:47 PM:
Huh? Who's sniping?
Actually, when I see c/s I automatically think "color/sound" as well, which is why I asked as to whether Patrick wants scope or flat because, (I may be wrong about this) Derann released both scope and flat digests of this.
Am I wrong or could somebody verify this for me.
By the way, ThanX for the support guys.

or C/S : Colour / silent...who knows
So Patrick come back, are you looking for silent movie in this digital era...come on buddy!

Hi Gents
Well I have always noted a cinemascope film as "c/s" and I know that many others do the same.
I have RAISE THE TITANIC in flat so I am now after it in c/s aka cinemascope
from now on I will type "c/scope"
Kevin, Yes! I am interested in your 200ft TITANIC, I have sent you an email!
Patrick

ThanX for clearing that up Patrick!
I never saw a desire scope written that way before, so, from now on, I'll clue into that. By gosh Winbert, you had it right. You must have heard of scope being referred to in that way, (c/s).
All the best!

Just to add to thw want list
I would also like to get my hands on
THE HINDENBERG 2x400ft from U8
THE GREAT ESCAPE (I believe Derann did a 600ft c/scope digest?)
Patrick
Posted by Graham Sinden (Member # 431) on August 23, 2009, 06:27 AM:
Patrick, I think Derann only did a 2x400 scope digest of The Great Escape, but it may well fit on a 600ft reel. I have it and its excellent but mine has faded a bit (sorry not for sale)

You're welcome Patrick, hope you like it? Glad it's gone to a good home!

I'm with Patrick - C/S has always meant Cinemascope - all the rental companies used that on their films. They also used C/2 for flat - but I've never figured out what that meant...

Hi Steven
All 35mm release prints here in cinemascope have c/s on them.
as well as alot of 16mm stuff.

Hi Patrick,
Just got my DR Who films this morning! Many thanks. The print is superb on both reels and I have really enjoyed watching them..
