This is the Universal 8 400 ft release of the LON CHANEY classic THE MUMMY'S TOMB. It's in EXCELLENT/NEAR NEW condition. VERY little wear and sound has been re-recorded off a digital source and sounds PERFECT, crisp, loud and with great fidelity. The BEST thing of all is this print consists of the two different versions on super 8..the 200 ft castle and the 400 ft Universal 8. All the scenes have been placed in their proper sequence and then meticulously re-recorded. This new recorded track is different than the 400 ft version released by U8. Here is a brief run down of the different footage used in this print. The 200 ft version had many scenes which were not present in the 400 ft version: Here are some examples: College campus footage, Lovers in car as mummy's shadow walks past, John Carradine in wood brewing Tana leaves, Kharis strolling around, Carrying the decaying Ananka. So many! They are here together with the 400 ft version, and have been seamlessly re-recorded. By far this is the best version of this film on Super 8 you shall ever find.

Hi Rob,

What you have reminds me of The re-edited version I had of Son of Frankenstein. In fact, I had two of the same. Sold one for $75.00 and the other for ironically $95.00 (I had that one listed for $39.00 and had 3 bidders; the highest being $95.00. I almost fell off my chair! Hope you get close to what you're asking for.

Hi John,
I think this may be better than what you sold, cause I did the re-recording, so it's one continuous sound level throughout.
I love these, only reason I'm parting with these is I have them on 16mm.
So time for some else to enjoy..
