Thanks, Larry,
I was delirious after searching for a feature in my inventory. I'm having a showing tomorrow night and I couldn't find the feature. After disassembling tons of stuff the film still wasn't found. I was steaming
. So I gave it one more try and there it was in plain sight. Seems it was about the only one that didn't get fresh leader and labeled.
The film is The Big Caper 1957.

Dan,
That CAT AND THE CANARY print - is that tinted or is it on faded colour stock?

Dan,
is CABARET a cutdown?
I am wondering about 5x400 reels! Canīt run more than 75 minutes!
Would be great to hear from You!
If it would be full length I would be highly interested!

I used to have that Cabaret feature -- it was cut down. Most of the ABC features were cut to about 80 minutes... I believe most of the musical numbers were intact though.

Michael O',
The Cat and The Canary is red all the way through. I looked for a film stock I.D., but there isn't one. The perf side is clear with letters or numbers.
Oliver,
Brian is right, these ABC Films features time in around 83 minutes. I watched Cabaret all the way through and it is loaded with musical numbers. The color improves with the musical stage lighting.

Hi Dan,
are ALL musical numbers intact and complete there?

Oliver,
It has been a couple of years since I watched it all the way through, but I think the musical numbers are intact. Since I haven't seen the original uncut version, I would not know what might be missing.

Brian, I was with you when you bought that and I remembered you were reluctant to buy it since the reel looked short. When you ran it, it was missing scenes. That crummy place on Canal St.; with projectors in a glass case with film still frozen in the projector. I remember he told me " they all run well. Just need to be cleaned". >>>Shakes head.
