Hi Flavio,

A couple of years ago I saw a brand new print of "Hunchback of Notre Dame". The sound was not very good. (It was kind of muddy.)

I'm pretty sure the problem was with the print because the machines were my own and they are good with other prints.

I'd only recommend this one if you have the ability to re-record it.

Hi Steve,

I suppose the problem was with the very late mag stripe (a sort of paste) used by the labs that suffer from recording quality.

Indeeed I'm not sure if re-recording would solve the problem.

I bought a new copy of SnowWhite two years ago with grey magnetic past and even when re-recorded, the final result was not good!

Anyway, thanks for your suggestion...

Flavio
