Hello, Folks--
I checked six of the seven following titles over the weekend. If you're interested in any title, please send me an e-mail message.
1. "His Hare-Raising Tale" -
Derann 200' color sound release of the 1951 Bugs Bunny cartoon - I purchased this title brand new, and it's never been run - $25.00
2. "Cinderella's Fairy Godmother" - Disney 200' color sound excerpts from "Cinderella" - color is very nice - sound level fluctuates during the last two minutes or so - very nice original box - SOLD
3. "Radio Ranch" - Niles B&W sound feature on 4-400 foot reels - feature version of the serial, "The Phantom Empire" - varying degree of scratchiness throughout the print - sound has a tinny or hollow quality to it - still, not without its goofy charm - $25.00
4. "Psycho" - Universal 8 400' B&W sound - nice print with great sound - the previous owner inserted a scene from another source after the opening credits and before Norman and Marion's private supper - the scene is the view of the house on the hill as seen from the window of cabin one as "Mother" severely berates Norman and refuses "to think of disgusting things because they disgust" her - this footage is of lesser picture and sound quality than the Universal 8 footage which comprises the remainder of the print - original Universal 8 clamshell box with a nice sleeve - SOLD
5. "One Million Years B.C." - Ken (F24) 400' color sound - color has gone over to the red side - sound is good - print is missing the opening 20th Century-Fox logo and opens with the tri/t-rex fight before the main title - even with the negative points, it's still enjoyable - nice original box - SOLD
6."Marathon Man" - Marketing Film 400' color sound - fair/good color - good sound - print is VERY jumpy - the previous owner attached the theatrical trailer before the Marketing footage - the color/sound quality of the trailer is good/very good and exhibits NO jumpiness - nice original box - SOLD
7. "The Detective" - Ken (F22) 400' color sound -
fair color - good sound - nice original box - $10.00
Thanks for reading.
Dave
