Hi Nicholas,

First of all welcome in t his forum.

About Scooby Doo, there are plenty episodes available in super 8mm. Both 200' and 400' version.

Almost all (or all?) were released by Techno Films in Italy. But since this film was so popular, Techno also made in English for international version.

Techno made in jewel case so it will be nice to collect them all and put on your shelf (ps: for 400' version is boxed in hard plastic case, similar to MGM)

cheers,

They are hard to come by. I'm still looking for one myself. Curiously, not every 400ft title has the original title sequence, or so I have heard.

They (the 400ft) tend to go for around 30 to 50 dollars, sometimes even more.

Nicholas, here is the list of Scooby Doo that I knew available in 8mm:

quote:
Hassle In The Castle
Decoy For A Dognapper
Foul Play In Funland
The Backstage Rage
Bedlam In The Big Top
A Gaggle Of Galloping Ghosts
A Night of Fright Is No Delight
That's Snow Ghost
Mystery Mask Mix Up
Haunted House Hang Up

Osi, in relation to Scooby Doo, do you know if any other companies released this episode?

ps: I wonder that this film was and is so famous until now but only Techno Films that I knew released it. While other Hanna Barbera cartoons were released by Columbia (e.g. Flintstones, Top cat, the Jetstones) but not Scooby Doo. Any specific reason?

Fletcher films released 10 Scooby Doo titles on Super 8 , colour sound , 400ft reels.
They also released Hong Kong Phooey & The Great Grape Ape cartoons.
