hi!guys,in my opinion as a collector, there,s nothing such rare films, only some are more easy to find than others, for a collector all films we want are (rare)and i must say there,s alot,a expeculation about prices, some fellas selling the same film more expensive than the regular oficial dealers, the quality of some films not deserve the price who are asking for,for ex. some of my top films ,they cost me a very fair price,i don,t mencioned whom i bought them for a question of respect some fellas buy for make business late,i don,t have nothing agaist, people can asking the prices they wont, but the final word it,s from the buyer...
long live super 8,i never let it die

quote: Wilbert,
You're analogies escape me! I don't believe that if money was no object you would rather buy a 'selected scenes' reel instead of the directors complete work, that's like buying just the signature off of a great artwork instead of the complete painting!
Ricky...woow.... there are plenty of threads here explaining why members prefer collecting digest than feature. It is not (entirely) about money problem. What I can remember:
- some members like to see the artwork/original box, knowing most feautres do not come with artwork box - some members do not have time to see features again and again, e.g. Ben Hur, The Fall of Roman Empire, etc - some member thinks digest runs better than feature - some members do not have enough space to store reels of reels. - etc...etc
quote: Let's be good enough to leave JC's post alone and if you wish to enter a debate then start your own thread.
If yo understand this, rather than making an offer to JC's film, why you SHOUTING with hilarious comment:
quote: WHAT NO PRICE LISTED... OUTRAGOUS CALL THE FILM PRICING POLICE! lol
Finally, this will be my end of statement, and if you want to continue... please open a new thread Ricky. [ June 11, 2011, 03:09 PM: Message edited by: Winbert Hutahaean ]
