In my current economic situation, I may be forced to sell my collection to pay the bills.

The collection consists of three projectors (GS-800 w/ 1.1 lens, ST-600 and a Eumig), two scope lenses (including one Kowa), and several reels/features;
including CHC's full length print of "Ice Age" mag-striped, "Logans Run" in scope and "Birth of a Nation" Blackhawk release. Also included is 15-20 or so 200' reels, maybe a dozen 400' and a few 800' including "Star Wars" and "Empire".

I am asking for bids over £3000/$5000, but listening to all serious bidders. Will get shipping quote on demand.

Christian....I am sorry to hear about your situation. I am in no position to make you an offer on your collection but I wish you good luck in selling it or better yet I hope another path opens up for you to keep it.

Chris, I understand this move, was mulling it over myself not long ago - Us long-old-timers have stuck to the grind since the start, Shorty

Looking for one lump sum or would you be willing to break up the lot?

Christian, I know the bills need paying but try your hardest not to sell everything, particularly both Elmo's and Ice Age, keep one Elmo. You will regret it in years to come when mabye you start collecting again.

You will regret it...just as I did when I swapped my GS1200 Xenon for a garden hose.

Christian - Stay in the game! It will not be the same without you. Keep your films and projectors, they will outlive us all! So will the bills...

Christian - there is an old saying -

"Act in haste - repent at leisure!"

Think about it very carefully.

Simon does that mean you can't show films when there is a hose pipe ban? [Smile]

Sometimes needs must Christian I know such is life and with things the way they are today around the world…. Did part with a few of my much loved movies some years ago and it took just as many years to replace later on. Hang on as long as you can my friend or perhaps keep your favourite projector and most loved films which you may regret letting go one day.

Jim, I haven't decided on that yet.

Hopefully I wont have to sell, but I'm keeping that door open in case of emergency. I'd rather sell the films than my vinyls, but hopefully I'll get to keep both :-)

Will keep you posted.

Unless that garden hose had scotch coming out of it I'd call that a bum trade [Wink]
