Chris, the James Goldstone film "Rollercoaster" was not released as a super 8 cutdown.

"Rollercoaster" is only available on Super 8mm as an Optical Feature.

Thank you. I thought the 1977 "Rollercoaster" was U8 4232 or 4233. My mistake. I am surprised they did not release a digest, though. Maybe I will make my own cut-down on video. Just to see if I can tell the whole story in 16 min. [Smile] If I do, I'll post it on Youtube.

I cut a 30 minutes version of it 20 years ago. It's on tape somewhere in the attic...

Blues Brothers on Ebay .
I'll have a look in my stock as I think I have another print of Hindenburg.

Thanks Jean-Marc. I put it in my watch list.

They also have "The Muppet Movie"

Please let me know if you have another "The Hindenburg" and, if so, let me know your price.

And now, here is the super 8 digest that never was but should have been.

ROLLERCOASTER

Let me know what you think.

Chris nice efforts for the ROLLERCOASTER.

BTW, at the joking side, we once tried to have a small contest who could make a 2 x400' of "Cars" (Disney) but no one finally made it. If you want to try.

Here is the rule:

[Competition] The best Super 8mm editor for CARS

Good luck [Wink] !

Chris, FYI, there are two reels for the Muppet Movie. One is the 400ft digest that is widely known, the other is a 200ft containing additionnal extracts that can be spliced into the first reel, just before the Muppets arrive in Hollywood.

Hindenburg has been located, will contact you via MP as soon as I've checked in which language it's been recorded.

Saw Rollercoaster in Sensurround when first released. You did a great job of cutting it down.

That "Cars" competition looked like fun...but a lot of work. I have a few editing projects to complete before the end of the year, but I might give it a try... For me Cars was always to long anyway :-)

If I find some extra time, I might try editing "Cars" to digest size. We'll see.

Thanks, Larry. I was trying to tell the basic story in 17 min. Had to loose some people in the process. Gone are Henry Fonda, Susan Strasberg and Helen Hunt. Actually, Mr. Fonda's character could have been removed from the real film and it probably would not have made any difference.
