Pat-

I had this digest when I was about 10 years old. Ken Films released it as a 50', or 200' digest, silent only.

It was a birthday gift. When I watched it, I was so disappointed that there were no flying superheroes in it, it was more like an old Tarzan movie or something. I don't think I watched it more than twice.

Of course today, I have an appreciation for these sort of things [Wink] .

I wouldn't say it was that rare though.

James.

Republic 8mm released a number of cutdowns of the feature film versions of their multi-episode serials. They put them out in 50,' 200' and 400' silent 8mm. This auction shows two reels. The only multiple Republic 8mm releases I know of are three Captain Marvels and three Tarzans.

Oh...not rare at all.

I had the 200' version and I didn't like it at all. I thought the one in the auction was much longer. Look at the price!
