"The Mad Magician" (1954) Columbia Pictures B/W 3-D

Vincent Price stars as Gallico The Great. After being wronged numerous times he becomes insane and he turns to murder to vent his frustrations. This is the only 20 minute digest that Columbia Pictures released in 3-D. (The 3D The Three Stooges 20 minute releases were by DFS) The print is Red and Green Anaglyph 3D Super 8mm Color Sound. The print was purchased new by me when it was first released and has only been viewed a few times. The color has held up well and the 3D effects are excellent. There are a few scenes that have a brief amount of Ghosting but it was printed that way. Columbia only provided one pair of viewing glasses which are included. However, they must be held with one hand throughout the film like a pair of opera glasses. They do
not have the sides that go over each ear. You can easily obtain such glasses online. The glasses required must be Red and Green not Red and Blue for the proper 3D effect. The original box is included but due to age is in fair condition. This print is not easy to find and has no distracting wear visible onscreen to detract from the 3D effects. So it is priced accordingly at $50
