For Sale: ON THE AVENUE (1937) super 8 magnetic sound B/W on three Bonum 600' reels with cases, starring Dick Powell, Alice Faye, Madeleine Carroll, the Ritz Brothers. Great 20th Century Fox Irving Berlin musical, very enjoyable film. Sound is a bit muddy/tinny but watchable. $50 plus shipping to USA.

I'm not sure who distributed the 20th Century Fox films on super 8 - was it Ivy Films perhaps? When I originally got the film, it was on a 1600' reel and I broke it down onto three 600' reels. The print quality is pretty good, but as I stated the sound quality is kind of on the tinny side. I still enjoyed watching it, though.
