Excuse me Pat...
Are you serious???
YOU LEAVING??????
Pat, please excuse my bluntness, but you are a PILLAR of this forum. You are a supporting wall of the 8mm house.
Pat, all joking aside, you simply can't just "be leaving".
Frankly, it's not allowed.
Imagine, for example, a month going by with Shorty not "looking for shorts", unheard of!!
Pat, dude, stalwart, hero, philanderer...not so long ago you posted a new picture. You can't leave...it's simply not on...we need you here...Pat...don't go...please. You make new members so welcome and keep established members on their toes.
I truly hope you reconsider.
If you stay, I'll DONATE you a film OF YOUR CHOICE (If I have it).
Doug, get him told (I know, it's not the Masons...)

Pat,
Is this your idea of a practical joke you're playing on us? You are kidding right? Say it isn't true!
The forum will not be the same without you & your comedy humor.

Very sad news indeed Passquale. I have enjoyed your posts and know that your always welcome to continue posting! Be fore-warned Pat ...
You will regret parting with your collection. I did that back in the late 80's and still have not found some of the titles I had back then.
However, is money woes are in your life, your not the only one. I have trimmed down parts of my own collection as well. I should hope that you'll stay close to all of us. Best of luck in all things

Pasquale, even if you do "sell up", hope you will continue to be part of the forum.
Knowledge is everything, and even if you do give up the hobby in practice, you have a wealth of knowledge to share, so please do keep up with us here; and new film advocates on the forum.
Best,
Rob.

Hi Pat,
I can't believe you are quitting film collecting, you have been a stalwart of the hobby, and this forum, for so long. Your posts have always been interesting, informative, and entertaining, and they will be sorely missed. Like many others here, I view you as a friend, even though we have never met. I wish you the very best for the future.

Glad your staying around to still add your fine views.
Need to ask EARTH VS THE FLYING SAUCERS 600' SUPER 8MM B&W SOUND SUPER 8MM B&W SOUND. Was it the 400ft + 200ft edited together? And did it add much? I remember it was quite well done edit, even with the narrator.
I'll have to keep looking for the 200ft version.
Best Wishes

Hi Dave
That's exactly what it was. And the 200' fit in very nicely. matter of fact, I kept that film.
