Hi, we are after any good quality Derann Disney prints on Super8 to buy outright, rent or trade. Not too fussed as to where in the world they might come from, but shipping would be to Australia.
Only after the features, not any digests.
Cheers
-Peter

Dear Pete,
I'm thinking of selling my prints of "Peter Pan" & "Beauty & The Beast", I'm looking for £300 Each + post, they have only ever been run a couple of times, and both are on 2x800' reels.
You can contact me direct at indi8films@aol.com if interested.

Pete - I've got a cheap print of "Beauty and the Beast" - but it has a lab defect - some blotching that you can see throughout - some parts worse than others. Otherwise excellent shape. I've got it on my list for $US 199, and I'm currently offering 20% off -so it would be $US 159.

What aspect ration is Beauty and the Beast on Super8?
The CAPS system output 1.66:1, but I know some theatrical releases were cropped.

Pete,
It's a long time since I watched it, but I believe it is slightly masked, perhaps a Forum member can confirm it for me.
Barry.

Hi Steven. I was really interested to read you have a blotchy looking Derann Disney film as one of mine has gone blotchy which is a new phenomenon to me. It must be a year or two since I last projected this particular Disney as well so I’m wondering if some sort of chemical action is happening. Bit of a worry.

Got any pictures of the blotchiness Lee? So yours was perfect but has since gone blotchy? That is a worry!

Just thought I'd let everyone know, "Peter Pan" has been sold.

Anyone know if Pete's Dragon was released on Super8 and what the runtime was?

Pete,
Just a 200' extract officially, but there are some Italian F/L prints, but the quality was pretty poor.
