WTB : Death Wish, I know marketing issued a 2 X 800ft. print.

I think mine is actually on a 1200 and an 800 if I am not mistaken ... Not selling though

you had to tease me...lol [Smile]

Vidar, at least show us some pics. This print hasn't been reviewed either, so an 8mm Print Review would be good too. Since this isn't low-fade, let us see the colors now when they are still good!

Will try to do that ...

It's half decent at least not all faded (didn't bother me much when I watched it)

Edit ...
I popped on reel 2 and took a small video and here's the pictures from it

And you can see there's still color

And my print is on an 800' for the first part and a 1200' for the second

Nice Vidar. Is this a good movie?

Oh, yeah ... One of Bronsons best in my opinion

Vidar, the print was with you all these years and slight fade is noticeable. Clearly, you didn't take good care of this print. Bronson's best doesn't deserve this. Let's try keeping the print with me? Maybe the colors will return to 'mint' in one year? If there is more fade, I will return it to you. [Big Grin]

LOL, only taken care of it for about 5 months myself ... Hopefully it will be loved here for many years

Vidar, the longer you keep it, the more it will fade. After a point no one, not even I, can bring back 'mint' color to the print. Consider my offer.

Also, I am already preserving 'Death Wish 2', 3, 4 and 5 for others collectors. Only the first part is missing to complete the set.

Won't likely happen, not until my eyesight is gone

Norway is a good place to preserve film :-) Cold and not much sun

I tried to help Vidar. Maybe the print of 'Deat Wish' has its own death wish ... to bleed, to fade, to blood red. [Big Grin]

I must say, that the film looks okay, the blacks look fine to
me, preferable to the blue bias to that modern prints seem to have.Don't give in to Akshay Vidar, he will lull you into a sense of security, then pounce, keep telling yourself, it's a good print, it's a good print , it's agood print, ignore Akshay, it's a good print..................

Just when Vidar was about to give in to my demand, Hugh interfered. Damn!!

Agree with y'all. This is a nice print.

Akshay , yer a good lad, mind there are the multi reel versions
from Marketing Film, which usually have the original screen ratio.

Where is Moshe? This is his thread. Did he find the print already?

On another note, this section "8mm films for sale/trade/wanted" more often sees "WTB: ..." threads. I was once telling a collector my Super 8 wish-list and he told me,"If you don't start collecting 16mm, you wishes will rarely come true." Leads me to the conclusion that Super 8 trade has always been a seller's market. Am I right?

im still here.....offered death wish with spanish soundtrack.
i think its the longest thread for wtb....lol

The long thread 'bumped' your post to the top repeatedly. Then your wish was seen by many, so you found your print. We worked for you Moshe!!
