That's a very expensive film list Joel! If I were you and I was pursuing that level of investment into Super 8 films, then one of the last machines I would use to project such a valuable and irreplaceable collection of films would be an Elmo ST1200. At least without spending a lot of money to get the extra rollers etc fitted to enable guaranteed scratch free projection. If I was both lucky enough and wealthy enough to own that list of films I would guard them with my life on a machine much kinder to films. This would then of course at least protect your potentially huge investment in these precious films and would result in you getting good money back for them should you ever wish to sell any in the future, whereas poor quality badly scratched prints become almost worthless to the rest of the collecting community. Just my personal opinion of course, based on owning five of these machines over the years. They can be good reliable workhorses but in my opinion are far too noisy to tolerate when sat alongside in the living room unless of course you are fortunate enough to have a dedicated home cinema room with a separate projection booth and you just never know the minute when the odd mark here and there will appear during projecting no matter what lengths you may go to stop this from happening. Some,it has to be said, are much worse than others, to be fair probably due to the amount of wear and tear these machines have generally had, but nevertheless I haven't owned one yet that can truly be relied upon and not many people seem to be of a different opinion on here I've found.

I thought the ST was ok though and considered one of the better machines out there. Oh well guess I'm back to my initial instinct of the GS then.

I'm not planning on buying all these at once by the way, I doubt I'll find many of them maybe ever so I figure at least this way I have a chance at getting hold of a couple. I expect it to take several years to even get halfway through that list!

I should also note though I'm open to 16mm or even 35mm prints for the above. At least then I have my bases covered should I come across the machines at some point!

Joel I think you be better off ordering Jurassic Park and Indy 1 and 3 directly from CHC as a new print.

There are very few of these out in the wild and I'm sure many owners would not sell them for lower than the cost of a fresh print of them.

Though if Ron Douglas has the hook up, I highly recommend him! I bought Star Wars and 2001 from him and he was great to work with!

If you comparing the price for S8 to 35mm, here are some offers on the 35mm forum (I am not the seller) for few of the titles you mention:
ALIEN: THE DIRECTOR'S CUT (LPP) $1250
ALIENS (LPP) $1250
JURASSIC PARK (LPP) $1200

And this are very reasonable price for this rare titles.
