I know this is a long shot, but would love to find a Super-8 copy of Derann's release of WINNIE THE POOH AND THE BLUSTERY DAY. Or a good I.B. Tech 16mm print.

Yes I have also read that on the forum which has always puzzled me. The fact remained that this title was still in Deranns last catalogue and would be available until the labs closed and if Derann did not have it in stock you could order it and wait 6 weeks for it to be printed. So surely over the years many more than 12 copies would have been printed. Unless this title was not popular and no one ordered it?

i would have thought so to Graham, we do have a copy which i bought some years ago but if only 12 copies were made then this makes it more rare than close encounters, the feature, which i understand only had 20 copies made.

I have been looking for this title for some time as well and have given up the search, it has been on ebay a few times in 16mm on the US site however l did not have 16mm at the time so didnt bother about it but wish l had now.

SURPRISE SURPRISE! [Smile]
Within hours of this post I found a copy, or rather, it found me.
Steve Osborne of The Reel Image called -- had seen the post -- and had a Super-8 copy for sale. And I always check with him about finding films. I have bought dozens and dozens of films from The Reel Image over the years, used prints as well as many new releases from Classic Home Cinema, but for some reason thought this one would be too rare to even bother asking him about.

Steve said he didn't think the title was as rare as many believe. I wouldn't know, but thanks for the comments on this post.
