I have decided to sell my print of Terminator - Derann polyester print, nice colours, very good condition, english sound 4x 600 ft
- it is very seldom and I am selling it for 295 GBP plus postage, before I put it into ebay next week.

Could you post some pictures off screen (both dark and brighter scenes)? What type of stripe has it got? Dark-greysh brown or the regualr brown? Any splices (even lab splices)?

Someone reported having had a print soaking in oil for one year and still fine. Are you sure your print is no longer rescuable ?

Water doesn't destroy a print, but drying it out poorly can make it look bad, and of course, a soft emulsion scratches effortlessly.

Alex, if you haven't unrolled the print yet, you can try using FilmGuard, by taking a paper towel heavily saturated in FilmGuard and wipe both sides of the print and try to unravel it then, if it is still sticky, do another wipe down. Soaking it in the FilmGuard may be necessary depending on how bad the damage is. This may save the print.
