Does anyone have a 50ft or more Super 8mm reel of this (silent will suffice) that they are willing to sell?

I have quite a few features that would greatly benefit from a professional "intermission" ending at the end of part one.
Sorry must be in colour and with good non faded colour please and free from any emulsion scratches.

I have a few already but now would like more footage if anyone can accommodate please?

I also require around 200ft of white acetate leader, again if anyone is willing to sell at a reasonable cost from a bulk quantity they may have.

Andrew search the web for Urbanski Film in the States, he sells white acetate leader (and a lot more beside) at different footages, and I'm sure he sells to the U.K.

Cheers Barry for the help, unfortunately as I have discovered on many occasions this year, bringing film, or goods in general, in from the States, proves far too expensive given the ridiculous import duties.
I am hoping someone from the UK can provide if at all possible Barry [Smile]

Thanks for that Graham, didn't know Phil sells leader. Any idea of price Graham?

Telephoned Phil @ Classic Home Cinema this morning regarding the Super 8mm white acetate leader Graham. None in stock at the moment but he is expecting a delivery of 2000ft from Germany early next week and he will spool up any quantity (he informs me) that the customer requires, so I will be ordering a 200ft spool next week from him hopefully. [Smile]

As for the "intermission" titled short reel of film, perhaps someone who still shoots film could market 50ft reels of this as there seems to be a shortage of used available footage of this nowadays. With today's advanced computer generated graphics and software programs, I would imagine it would be fairly straightforward to be able to produce a very professional attractive reel of this in this day and age.

I have had a look John but cannot see anywhere on their site that advertises leader or spools etc. Seems more of just a developing and transfer company rather than a cine stockist like CHC. I could probably contact them regarding the leader but somehow I doubt they would be as inexpensive as Blue Tech Cine or CHC even if they sell it on it's own, unless someone knows otherwise?

Sorry yes just tried your link and of course it is there on good old e bay, however it is 200ft on a 200ft reel with no joins that I am after so as to produce zero waste footage when cutting. I like to place around 6 to 7 feet of leader before a feature due to using very large spools.

John.

Thanks John, that would be most helpful as you already know these guys. I am trying to match or better still, beat Phils price of £32 for a 200ft reel so I would imagine it can be done.

Thanks again in advance of your efforts for me, most appreciated John!
