For sale "The 7th Voyage Of Sinbad." Comes on five 400 foot reels.Like most of these prints are on the pinkish side.I would give the color about an 8.5 on a scale of 1 to 10.Asking $225.00 plus $10.00 shipping.

Hi Winbert

I don't know who released this film,but I know it isn't Derann.On the credits it says Columbia.As for as the 4200 footers,Again I don't Know.I'm sorry.

Columbia did release a few full length features on super 8. I have seen "Bye Bye Birdie" and "The Way We Were" in full length editions. Maybe this is another.

I recall Derann saying they had obtained the feature negative from Italy.

Best of luck on your sale, Bob.

Bob,

Sorry if I'm mistaken, however I'm not familiar with any other feature prints of Sinbad. Derann did not put their logo or any other leader info on the Sinbad release. Does the countdown look like this?

I had a print of this from Derann. I recall the color being good but had red splotches here and there.

Yes it does Doug.Mine looks exactly like that.Does that mean it is a Derann print.

Hi Joe

I don't know what you mean by red print marks. The color is good, but to me some scenes look a little pink or reddish.Maybe it's just me.I don't that much about what to look in films other than color etc.

Hi Bob,
I sent you a PM. The two prints I had of this had print marks, brief small pink/red splashes that last a fraction of a second here and there throughout the film. From what I understand this was a lab error, and the earlier run of prints had less of this going on than the later one.
In one print I had they were most noticeable near the end of the film, in the other they started at the beginning in the dark scenes with Sinbad at the wheel of the ship and continued here and there in different parts of the film.
