Hello all!
We from Wicked-Vision producing a limited Blu-ray Edition of David Cronenbergs THE BROOD and we search the Super-8 / or 8mm-Version of the movie, for the special features.
I hope anyone can help us to find the version.

If I understood correctly, they need to borrow a print for making a special feature on the Blu-Ray, so they scan it and return it I believe. Many companies has done this lately, included as a special feature, the Super 8 version. Cool, but not as cool as the original Super 8 :-)

Jim, Vidar is right. They are looking to add the super 8mm digest as a special feature on their video release of The Brood.
The problem I've seen with this so far is on two recent special feature additions by the German company Subkultur on their new Paul Naschy DVD/Blu ray sets. The transfers were lousy compared to the very nice quality of the UFA super 8 digests. Maybe these folks will hopefully do a better job....
