all I can offer is two odd reels in 16mm, the last 40 minutes, 20 mins in french, 20 mins in english. Don't ask me how I got it [Big Grin]

don't ask how much I paid because I thought it was the entire movie [Eek!]

I saw it at kind of a temporary drive-in theater on a beach parking lot last summer.

-surrounded by DeLoreans from a local club.

Sure it wasn't film, but it was still great!

Me and a fellow BTTF fanatic saw the trilogy in 35mm at a local Empire multiplex.

Before the Odeon took it over they used to do one off screenings of things like the Indiana Jones trilogy (really wish I'd caught that one).

They had the delorean owners club there with a full replica of the movie car in the foyer complete with hover board, camera and plutonium! That was a good night, despite the prints being in rough shape and breaking down at least twice per film!

We had a presentation failure too!

99.9% of the time this is just a parking lot at a town beach. Once or twice a year a local company comes in and sets up a "drive-in-theater". What this means is they bring in the Mother of all Inflatable Screens. I would estimate it easily 30 feet tall!

About a third of the way in, all of a sudden it very quietly (no "I had baked beans for lunch" sound...) began to lean over backwards and slowly collapsed in a huge heap. There was a lot of yelling and running around up front, and a few minutes later it began to slowly stand up again and then we finished the movie.

This is all digital of course, but I did notice a lot of their widget and doodad storage was 35mm reel cans...
