Wow, just watched one singular Elmo 1200ft jewel reel and a Tony Churcher 1600ft Supapool both in cans go for £41 on e bay UK this evening.

These Elmo reels seem more valuable than the film that's placed on them at times, just incredible what some people pay for these!

Must admit though they are becoming quite scarce on e bay here in the UK in the past twelve months.

It's gotta be the Elmo reel that landed the sale on this one, as on many occasions the Supaspools struggle to sell for even relatively small amounts and do appear quite regularly.

I think the cans helped here Andrew, you don't get them together like this often, the card boxes just don't last very long either, so I think that's a fair price for these items. I've got a few of these spools, but not the cans.

I don't tend to use the enormous pile of these cans growing in my loft. You are welcome to a few of these Paul if you can make use of them.

My films always finish up in the square card boxes which I find are very strong by the time I've bonded them together bound with the laminated art all round.
