Looking for the 400 foot digests with color / sound. I see them all of the time on eBay, but the trouble is there's never a description of the quality of the actual film, always just a description of the box and other nonsense I don't care about. So with that said I figured I would inquire if there's anyone on the forum here that has any of the 400ft releases for sale that are in good condition. The biggest thing for me is I want to avoid red prints, I couldn't care less if the box is wrecked for instance. Also english sound is a must.

Most are fading or have completely faded to red now Jason.
I have the two 400ft extracts in order on one 800ft reel but while there is colour in them, there is no doubt there is a degree of fade also.
Most have also been shown many many times so it is difficult to find pristine prints in the digest format.

For pristine prints Jason, you have probably got a far greater chance of finding good condition prints by finding the feature released by Derann.

I guess I'm less concerned about them being pristine and more concerned about getting an honest idea of what the colors are like, something that seems almost impossible on eBay as most sellers don't show any screenshots or give any description of the prints. I'd like to know before buying how faded a print is, and eBay seems like a total crapshoot.

Not all the cutdowns have faded, I was lucky enough to get both Empire cutdowns from eBay and although the boxes are tatty to say the least what they contained were beyond my expectations.

Those are great, Phil. Mine are pinking by comparison. I think someone said that late on there was an LPP stock used for Empire...
