I don't think DIZZY DOCTORS - 3 Stooges 400' S8Sound was ever released by Columbia -- they released a 200' silent. Did someone else release it?

It's possible Joseph, as some other super 8 company, released a number of stooge full length shorts. I have one up on ebay "Violent is the Word for Curly', which, i don't think was released by Columbia officially, but these non-official shorts could vary on quality. Some, like "Violent" are OK, while others are terrible, and all the non-official ones were released, it appears, on LPP film stock, B/W of course, usually with a bluish tint.

Hi Osi,
Do you have a link to the Stooges auction, please?

Here's a link to the auction, Michael ...

But i don't think that it would let you bid on it. Ebay has this silly thing where, in order for overseas people to bid on things, you already have to have a shipping quote for the item ahead of time and that would mean that for every item I'd sell, I'd have to bring it down to the post just to do that before i would list it for overseas buyers. I don't even mess with the ebay shipping calculator as it is ALWAYS inaccurate and, in most cases, comes up with a quote that is lower than what is needed for the shipping, which udercuts the seller.
That doesn't mean that i wouldn't seel to anyone overseas anymore, it's just that it's a hassle to do so and than more than half the time, you go out of you're way to get a quote for someone oeverseas, go out of the way to do that, change the description for the overseas buyer, and then, they don't end up bidding on the item which is, of course, frustrating when you go out of you're way for a potential buyer.
Sorry to hijack you're topic, Shorty.

Well said osi I had and film in a auction in which I stated no international bidders at this time we'll a guy from Russia budded and won then complained about my shipping prices he thought he could get it shipped for 10.00 I ended up going to the post office to get him a quote it is a pain for us to go out of way.

Dizzy doctors were released by DCR in the 90' on color film stock (LPP). This have the Columbia (beginning)Screen Gems (end) logos without the unpleasant surimposed warning "sold for private... etc, etc".

In addition to Dizzy Doctors and Violent is the Word, some of the other non-Columbia Super 8 releases include I'll Never Heil Again and Boobs in Arms. At least a few were on JEF Films, and I've been lucky to snag some of those titles. Apparently, Oily to Bed, Oily to Rise is also out there.

Dave Thomas had those, back about 1985 - DIZZY is the last one I'll need

Yeah, thanks Jim, but not the 400' - While on the subject, I need 2 of these 200' editions; PAIN IN THE PULLMAN and DOPEY DICKS, illustrated boxes, not the generic - Thanks all, from Shorty
