Since a number of people have chosen to ignore my request to stay on topic in Alberto's sales thread, I have deleted all off topic posts. As I stated before, feel free to start a related topic in the main section, however please do not hijack a fellow member's sales thread.

Here is Alberto's auction link.

Don't recall your request.
Opinions not required apparently.I would have thought it was in our collective interest to keep prices reasonable.

Allan,

I'm sorry you did not see my post. Opinions are welcome, however completely hijacking a thread is not. I find that to be incredibly rude. The purpose of a sale thread is to sell an item, not to discuss the price. If you think the price is high, feel free to pass on it. If indeed the price is too high the item will not sell and then (normally) the asking price will be reduced. I'm guessing that if you were attempting to sell a print you would not appreciate numerous posts off topic criticizing prices of film in general.

In the 8mm Forum section there is much more leeway which takes into account the general flow of conversation and allows tangents but always with the idea of returning to the topic. A sales thread is much more narrow in focus because the purpose is to sell prints or equipment.

I fully understand that this is a sales section of the forum.
I wasn't the one that started this particular thread, but I thought the person had a point and said so.
To put it in another section of the forum seemed a bit disjointed.
