Hello, could anybody tell me exactly how many Asterix Cartoons extracts individually have been released by Film Office please ? Titles they gave to each part would be welcome. I guess to find a complete catalogue of Film Office France on Super 8 must be difficult these days ? Thanks in advance, Gilbert ( I do speak and read french )

Hello Gilbert
Here's the page of Film-Office 1982 Super 8 catalog about Astérix. Twelve extracts have been available. The figures indicate the length of the extract (meters).
Beware, most of theme have now faded colours...

Thank you very much for the information, I'm looking to buy them if possible, I had a few last week , perfect colours but very scratched ... I hoped the Film Office prints would have kept their colours, (agfa) seems not always ... Could become a costly affair to find them all in great shape, as I have a Beaulieu projector with 700 meters spool capacity , I was thinking of editing a huge long programme with all of them together ... I feel it's entertaining and even if they are from different movies , it's a continuing story in the world of the Gauls , Asterix and Julius Ceasar. Great fun if one understands french ..( not bad in English , but the French original idea by it's creators of playing with the words is great fun ) I'll consider all decent offers of nice prints .. Warmest regards to all , Gilbert

Thank you Phil , Daniel and Bruno. I just bought 6 Cousteau Titles from Le Monde Du Silence aka The Silent World with sound , could you tell me if there are more please ? All colours seem very nice here only one lost 10% of it's colours so far it's minor fade ..., I wonder how many sound Cousteau parts came out and if they kept their colours. I try to do the same here, editing them together to have a long Cousteau Film to watch in my collection. Kind regards, Gilbert

Gilbert, I get 2 samples from COUSTEAU . Colours are good. These are nice Documentaries films, however sharpness is medium.
So far I remember, Film Office had proposed Documentaries on sailor Eric TABARLY too .

Hello Gilbert
On my Film-Office catalog, there are only 6 titles from Cousteau's Le Monde du Silence. So, you seem to have all of them.
Give me your e-mail address and I'll send you a scan of the complete 1982 catalog.
