Hard to find print. The one I have is B/W but on color film stock. No bluishness to it, but the image was printed just slightly too bright, but quite sharp for such an early cartoon. It's not, however, an official Disney print.
(please note on that last remark, I don't know if Derann issued this cartoon. If they did, than there ARE official prints of this Disney cartoon, as Derann, of course, had a contract with Disney to release thier films.)
Not wanting to sell, just giving you info on the quality of the print.

The copy I own, Osi may remember, is strange as it has optical sound and I can't be sure but it looks like B&W stock. How can I tell the stock for sure?
When projected on my Yashica P810, the sound doesn't sync up but comes about 2 seconds early. When I got it, i did some looking into values and availability of Steamboat Willie on 8mm and most said it wasn't uncommon. But I have hardly seen one since! And, I have never seen or heard of an optical print on 8mm.
I have a theory, not sure if it holds water. I'm wondering if somebody has made a duplicate of a larger print (9.5mm) down to 8mm, and because the distance from the projected frame to the corresponding optical track is different, its now not synced on this machine. Does this even make sense?
Notes about mine: It looks incredible, it does not have the deleted scene which may help date the source, I haven't watched it in awhile, but will again if there are additional things that I could look for to help ID the version.
I'd love to have a magnetic version to show in sync, this is the only optical film I have. I've got a clever plan to sync the sound that I will try soon.

That might very well, be the case, Jeff! Do any of you're other super 8 optical sound films have this same off sync problem? Than it's DEFINITELY a problem with where the optical sound reads the track. If not, then it's the specific film and if that' the case, then you're of course, out of luck.
Opps, i just remembered, you don't have any other optical sound films.
There were a very few super 8 optical sound black and white films produced, but they are usually old 60's prints that are either documentaries or instructional films. I remember you're optical sound super 8 print!
I equally envy both the super 8 print, as well as you're Yashica P810! I have one too, but it's been on the shelf for a couple of years now, as I have no way to repair it!
If it's a color film stock, it will usually say somewhere in the sprocket area. Equally so, (in most regards) with black and white films.
I LOVE talking optical sound super 8!!!
