Yep, i know that these ALL exist as super 8 optical sound features, but they are as rare as "hens Teeth"!

In some cases, I only saw these on sales lists, ( a few of these, forinstance, on "Dave Thomas's used film lists from the late 80's ), but I do know that at least, in the case of some of these films, there was at least one optical feature of these films available.

I assume Buhler was flat? I don't believe there was a 16mm Scope released, so would have been great if there was a Super 8 you could find.

I would assume flat as, while occasionally in the 70's there was the odd letterboxed super 8 optical sound feature (such as "The Man Who Would Be King" and "Conduct Unbecoming"), they were as a general rule, issued "flat"

... but bear in mind that, as a general rule, the super 8 optical sound features were mainly produced for the in-flight movie need for the airlines, and a letterboxed film would just make it not great to look at, (though it must be said that most super 8 optical sopund features were extremely sharp).

I must add. however, that there MUST have been a puch, at one time for super 8 optical sound features in scope, as I do know of one that a friend owns over in the U.K., "The Battle of Britain."

So, there is the possibility of others out there as well.

As Osi hasn't replied, perhaps someone could let him know about this. I'd hate for him to miss out on a film he wants, as these are quite rare, I believe.
