I have a Eumig 610D projector for sale. Been told it's rare; in it's original box. Bargain at £150 postage included. You won't find one as good.

That price sounds a bit on the high side for a silent machine. I don't think the 610D is that rare but I'm sure others will correct me if I'm wrong.

Just saw this one on eBay: Eumig 610D

You are right on that one Kev! There are always one or two on Ebay regularly. And at least one on Ebay Germany every week. However the pricing on that unit is really up and down. I have seen it go for $80 US and then there is one that sold last week for around $280 but this one was in the box WITH the viewer attachment...so..its a toss up. Luck of the Ebay draw. I think for a quick sale it should be no more than $150 US or 75 Sterling.

I'm a dealer in Super 8 gear and filmstock (I own a shop called Blue Audio Visual) - Even in the days before ebay we never used to charge more than £120 for a 610D, and these days I would probably ask £90 with a 3 MONTH GUARANTEE!

£150 is OTT, and they're certainly not that rare - I must have sold at least 40 of them over the last 15 years!

Bart

Welcome!

I think I remember visiting Blue when I lived in Islinglton in the early 90s, do you (or did you) also sell electric guitars in the same shop? Or am I thinking of somewhere else?

Great to have you on board, always good to get a dealers perspective, have you, in your shop noticed the sudden up turn in prices of equipment that was discussed on another thread?

Bart, welcome aboard the forum and Enjoy [Smile]

Maybe you could tell us a little more about your shop?

Working in Soho it wouldn't be to far to make a trip to see your shop....maybe in one of my lunch breaks.

Kev.

You've got the right shop Mike, we used to be on Upper Street opposite Islington Green, but we've moved around the corner to Duncan St, just off Upper Street by Angel Tube.

As to your question Kevin....

We sell a wide variety of mostly secondhand gear, specialising in Super 8, 16mm, Musical Instruments, & HiFi. I'm pretty sure we're the only shop in the world where you can pick up Super 8 film, a pack of guitar strings, a Kazoo, a Super 16 Arri SR2 kit, and a Theremin all in one go!

We sell 64T process-paid for £19.99 (processing by Andec), and stock all the other Kodak Super 8 and 16mm stocks generally cheaper than our well-known competitors in London!

We sell a selection of commonly found projector bulbs: A1/17 £13.49, A1/231 EFP Osram Xenophot £4.99, A1/232 EFr Osram Xenophot £5.99, A1/259 ELC Philips £5.99....

We run 2 websites, www.blueaudiovisual.co.uk and www.filmcamerakit.com

www.filmcamerakit.com is the official Bolex representative in the UK

I'll stop at that point because it's all starting to sound like an advertisment now, any questions feel free to ask.

Mike - which is the thread that you are referring to?

Hi Bart and welcome,
it's great to know that there is a shop so close to where I live where I can get all my bits and pieces from.
Best wishes,
Paul.

Whereabouts in London are you based, Paul?

Hi Bart,
sorry for my delay in replying to you but I went to work and just got back. I live in Barking so I'm quite close to your shop by tube and bus. It will be nice not having to rely on mail order all the time.
Best wishes,
Paul.
