I have a Chinon 9500MV Magnetic/Optical Sound, Variable Speed Projector for sale at $500 plus shipping. I'll also throw in for free a Chinon 506SM XL Direct Sound, Power Zoom, Super8 Camera that has only been used to shoot 3 films. I'm the original owner of these items so I know they haven't been abused, as they've spent most of their life sitting in their original boxes. I bought them to do stop frame animation, but not too long afterward, I got video capability on my computer and bought an expensive JVC Time Lapse VCR that could record single frames, so the Super8 stuff wasn't needed anymore.

The Chinon 9500MV is in close to new condition, with the exception of about a 1" scuff mark on the front (the side that points toward the screen). It has been used very little. It comes with all of its original contents such as manuals, accessories, original box/packaging, plus addition spare light bulb I bought as a backup. I set my price based on the $575 I saw a camera shop selling one for, not to mention one that bid up to over $1000 on ebay according to one person, but that was probably a fluke, I'm never that lucky.

I should also note that all the film I've ever played on it was silent, so I've never used its sound capabilities, nor am I able to test that part. It's highly unlikely there would be anything wrong with that part, but in the rare chance there is, I'll pay the repair bill.

The only cosmetic issues with the 506SM XL camera are that the leather piece around the back of the handle is very slightly lifting off at the edges, which is no big deal, and you can crazy glue it down if need be. Also for some reason, part of the rubber eye hood has kind of liquefied and turned into a tar-like substance. I pulled most of that off, but one can just remove the entire eye hood and/or replace it. The switch on the camera microphone can be used as a remote control to start and stop filming or shoot single frames, which was great for stop frame animation, so you don't giggle the camera between frames. I noticed some camera shop is selling a 506SM XL camera for $300 at the link below, and also saw somebody else trying to sell the manual for $25, so getting a 506 for free isn't bad.
