I want for a friend the main drive belt, and the large belt that goes between the 2 reel spindles for the Elmo ST600, if anyone can help me out please email me at indi8films@aol.com .

Hi Barry there was a seller in the USA sells the 2 set for around £6/7 posted to the UK if you search they may still do.

Hello Barry,
The illustration shows them to be O-Rings, they work okay, but you may have to adjust the speeds (18 & 24 FPS) by adjusting the appropriate pods after installing them.

The O rings for the main drive can actually be better than the origional v belts which can end up twanging around and oscillating causing a row etc.
Some machines seem OK with the V,s others really can`t cope, just one of those things.
I`ve popped many O rings on in the past and no need to adjust, I suppose it depends on the thickness etc.
