Hi, I'm keen to find an excellent condition super 8 CIR splicer, the simpler, metal type one. Also the same in 16mm, sometimes called the 'amateur'.

The things one acquires! I seem to have a CIR Super 8 splicer - in it's polystyrene 'box' with the wrapper round it - and even a reel of the good Doctor's splicing tape on it. Whatever next! It is in heavy plastic (part from the film cutter). It only cost me £25 - so if you're interested you can have it for that + postage (which shouldn't be a lot). PM never seems to work for me, so email me:- reels4de (at) ntlworld (dot) com if you'd like to know more. Cheers. David E
