I've gotten a couple of Revere P90 projectors and need to swap out parts in order to get one working projector. I have a lamp switch to remove but can't find the proper tool to loosen a nut on the switch internals. I've tried bike stores and hardware stores but can't seem to find one that works. It seems that the nut size is about 14-15mm. metric or not? Here's a picture I took of the problem nuts, with arrows indicating where to I need to grab onto.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi Richard

If you have tried all your spanners without any luck, then here is what I would do to remove the stubborn switch.
Make sure it not plugged in while you do this.

First spray the threads with some penetrating oil.

Then get a pair of multi grip pliers, long nose pliers, adjustable wrench or any other type of gripper that can get a firm hold of the front, outer nut to prevent it turning.

Then using your other hand, grab the whole switch from behind and try turning it anticlockwise. Don't worry about the inner nut at all.
If you manage to make the switch turn, even if it only moves a bit, that should loosen the front nut at the same time & you should then be able to spin the front nut off quite easily by hand or pointy nose pliers.

Give it a try & Good luck with it.

Thank you Aussie! that did it! I fixed the projector part and it was an easy fix to put that switch into the projector. The hardest part was the nut and thanks to you I followed your directions to a T and that did it. Can't thank you enough for your taking the time to answer my post.
