Hi selling my very nice 2010 Hitachi LCD projector, odd mark but very little used, less than 200 hours on the bulb, can do 3000, or even up to 6000 if used in eco mode. Very nice and quiet machine and I think still less than 2 years old.

Lumens 2200 or 1500 ( still very bright and nice) in eco mode and does an absolutely superb picture, DVD or Blu Ray look fantastic, very sharp and nice.

Picture is stunning at say 5 feet wide and still amazing at even 10 feet wide.

Great affordable way in to LCD projection. £65 with remote, lead and dvd/blu ray player component lead ncluded. Post £12.

Drop me a line if you want any more details.

Best Mark.

SOLD THANKS

I hope you are joking Adam. I don't see any reason why Mark can't sell a video projector. I know the forum is 8mm but this is a fairly broad church (hell we even include 9.5mm).
Mark is a film enthusiast who happens to watch some films as DVDs rather than real perforated stuff.
Most current films will never be available on 8mm so film enthusiasts need to acknowledge other formats if they want to enjoy the home cinema experience fully.
I personally think Mark would have got a bit more for his projector on ebay so selling on the forum has done him no favours.
If another member sold some books about cinema I wouldn't have an issue with that either.

Thanks John, its all about enjoying films when it comes down to it.

The wealth of wonderful things you can get on dvd, even home done releases via ebay etc that will never be on real film makes a Video projector a fantastic addition for real film watchers.

I can`t afford real film features at all (kids etc ), just a few shorts and trailers on celluloid, but I still really enjoy 8mm, its magic, don`t ask me why, but there you go.

I think this forum is one of the nicest, open, and easy going places you can visit online.

Best Mark.

i took all of the family films on super 8 and reg 8 and transferring them to dvd. i got a mini DV camera for $2 at a yard sale and it has digital effects and one of them is slow shutter to adjust shutter speed to transfer film
