I'm new to this forum but I've been collecting film for a while now. I've recently moved into super 8 and I'm looking for a 1.1 lens for my Elmo 1200HD projector. If you have one for sale, send me a pm or email me at

Am pretty confident Alan Rik has one for sale with a lens holder.

Also does anyone know if Braun/Schneider lenses are good? I was bidding on this one, and I might be able to get it through a second chance offer.

Hi Harrison, it will need a faff about and re-sleeving to fit your Elmo and never be quite as right as an actual Elmo lens.
These Xenovarons are available for Elmo`s in a proper good sleeve made for the Elmo made right from new and far better than a cobble job.
Also there is the odd OK cobble job about with them in.
The Xenovarons can pip the Elmo 1.1 if set right. The Elmo 1.0 can be a bit tough regarding re-focussing quite a lot.
You should get a good and right Elmo 1.1 to go straight in, for £60 -£75 from a fair seller.
Best Mark.
